It is in the Ehta system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Size:<\/strong> Hamlet<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Government:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Dock Charter.<\/strong> Farpoint has no mayor or lord. Three factions govern by mutual agreement. If at least two agree on a matter, it becomes policy. Major disputes are settled before the entire community in the Lantern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Economic System:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Exploration and salvage. The town survives on ship rentals, repairs, salvaged Ancient relics, star chart registration, prospecting rights, and supplying expeditions. Nearly every coin that enters Farpoint comes from someone risking their life beyond the Waygate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Population:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Approximately <strong>200<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Diversity:<\/strong> 35% Verren, 20% Dwulgar, 10% Elves, 8% Gekk, 7% Wheblon, 5% Badoof, 5% Telflen, 10% Other races.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Notable NPC&#8217;s<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Jarek Voss<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Male Verren, Dockmaster<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The unofficial face of Farpoint. Gruff, practical, and impossible to intimidate. Jarek decides who gets a berth, who rents a ship, and who has worn out their welcome. Every captain owes him a favor eventually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Selene Vael<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Female Elf Navigator<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Leader of the Wayseekers. Selene maintains Farpoint&#8217;s Registry of Waygate Keys and star charts. She believes thousands of Ancient gates remain undiscovered and quietly funds expeditions that others consider hopeless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Brum Ironfoot<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Male Dwulgar Shipwright<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Owner of Drydock Seven. Brum can repair almost anything that still resembles a ship. Most new crews lease their first vessel from him, and many spend years paying off the debt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ketch<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Male Wheblon Scavenger<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Small, fast-talking, and seemingly everywhere at once. Ketch always knows who found a derelict, who bought a relic, or who disappeared beyond the frontier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sister Amara<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Female Telflen Philosopher<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Keeper of the Beacon Shrine. She studies the Ancient tower overlooking the settlement. Though not particularly religious, explorers often seek her blessing before departing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Garr Vox<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Male Gekk Prospector<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Representative of the Prospectors&#8217; League. Garr finances expeditions in exchange for a percentage of recovered salvage. He&#8217;ll back almost any plan, provided the numbers make sense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Notable Places<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Twin Lanterns<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The settlement&#8217;s only tavern and inn. Every job begins here, every successful expedition ends here, and every rumor eventually reaches its common room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Drydock Seven<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A modest repair yard built from salvaged hull plating. Crews can lease older Freedom-class ships, battered Cogs, or small utility skiffs. Every vessel has a history, and usually a few quirks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Registry<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A stone building where all verified Waygate Keys, star charts, and discoveries are recorded. Finding a new system earns a crew both payment and permanent recognition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Beacon<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An Ancient observation tower that predates the settlement by untold ages. It overlooks the Waygate and emits a faint blue light each night. No one has discovered how it functions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Charter Hall<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The only public building large enough to hold the entire settlement. The three factions meet here to settle disputes, assign docking rights, and decide matters affecting Farpoint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Prospectors&#8217; Warehouse<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A sprawling collection of crates, broken relics, mining equipment, and salvaged Ancient technology awaiting appraisal or auction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Notable Groups<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wayseekers &#8211; Explorers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8220;Beyond every gate lies another horizon.&#8221;<\/em>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Wayseekers are explorers, navigators, cartographers, and scholars who dedicate their lives to expanding the known frontier.
