Several of my books claim that this is precisely what happened\u2014some bizarre experiment to create a new servant creature\u2014though details of how this might have been achieved are unknown. Personally, I think the resemblance is likely coincidence. Regardless, the creature is unsettling to look upon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2014<\/em>Delgon<\/p>\n\n\n\n Vorgs can be trained and domesticated like hunting dogs, though they still retain their rather unpleasant temperament. This may be why many unsavory creatures and characters have vorgs as companions. They are large for canines, around 3\u2019 tall at the shoulders, weighing around 180 lbs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2014Etahn<\/p>\n\n\n\n Scent<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n A vorg possesses an exceptionally keen sense of smell. It can detect nearby creatures by scent, even when it cannot see them. A vorg can normally detect a creature within 30\u2019. This increases to 60\u2019 if the creature is upwind and decreases to 15\u2019 if it is downwind. Strong or overpowering odors can be detected at greater distances. Detecting a scent reveals that something is nearby but not its exact location. Determining the direction of a scent requires a move action. Once the vorg comes within 5\u2019 of the source, it can pinpoint its location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Pin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n After successfully hitting a creature with its Bite, the vorg may attempt to Pin its target with an opposed Grapple Heroic Action. If the vorg succeeds, the target is Grappled and Prone.
