A bolt of magical energy darts forth from your fingertip and strikes its target, dealing 1d4+1 points of force magical damage. The bolt cannot miss if the spellcaster can see even a small part of the target. Mage Bolt can not be dodged. Since it is magical damage, it bypasses most mundane AV. A Mage Bolt is always considered aimed, but specific areas of the target can not be singled out. 

For each mana level of the spell, the mage adds another Mage Bolt. Individual bolts may target different creatures or objects.

Spellcraft failure: The spell fizzles, and mana is lost.
