The mage summons thick spider-like webbing in a space. Those within the space become snared by the sticky web. The webbing needs three points of contact within the effected spell area to stay in three dimensions, otherwise it appears and falls to the ground (but may still effectively snare those in the area). Not only does the web stop or slow those within it, it makes all skill checks Difficult until the character is free of the webs.

A successful Dodge avoidance allows the character to move through the webbing at 1/2 speed. If caught in the webbing, a character can free themselves with a Difficult Effort check, which would allow them to move at half speed. 

Spellcraft failure: The spell fizzles, and mana is lost.
