She was tall, with pointed and back-turned ears. Her eyes were large, in contrast to her small features. She was taller than most men, and her figure was slim and muscled under flowing robes. She had used her wiles to convince the young duke to give her free reign over his small duchy. The ancient texts had said that an ashiron could drain a person of their life essence, maybe even their soul. From the look of the Duke, she had drained all but the most basic intelligence from him.
While my research had stated that most rare or magical metals would damage her, it was still a tough battle. She drained my strength, somehow giving it to the possessed guards, and tested my abilitySomething a character can do or feel, whether a skill, a pas... More to know what was real and what wasn’t. But finally, my blade took her down. Although no texts mention a chance for resurrection, I still burned her body, spreading salt and silver on the ashes.

When an Ashiron crosses over to Atheles, they typically traverse the In-Between with their original body intact. Sometimes, if their body is destroyed, their spirit might possess another body in Atheles. If this happens, all evidence indicates that the original inhabitant of the possessed body, now trapped, with no control over his or her own body, grows increasingly mad as time passes. If the possession is not ended quickly, the original inhabitants will either remain drooling and helpless for the remainder of their lives, or will be destroyed utterly, their soul lost. A single occurrence of the Ashiron possessing an inanimate object was written of by a mage, but this could be naught but mere legend.
They often use their charisma and abilitySomething a character can do or feel, whether a skill, a pas... More to drain people of their senses in order to gain power and status in our lands. All evidence presented shows they have little care for the inhabitants of these lands other than as vessels and food. They’re interested only in escaping the Navirim and gaining enough power to remain in our world.

Possess
As a standard action, an ashiron can possess the body of a medium-sized living or recently dead humanoid. A target under the effects of a Protection from the Never spell cannot be possessed. The ashiron must be in incorporeal form to attempt to possess the creature (Spirit saveRolling a characteristic to resist an effect or spell. A possessed body gains all the benefits and abilities of the ashiron and loses all of its original abilities. A possessed body always has the ashiron’s statistics, and slowly morphs over a period of months to physically embody those stats. Due to their use of charisma and negotiation, ashirons tend to target beautiful individuals.
Incorporeal Form
An ashiron can leave the host body it possesses at any time. The only way to trap an ashiron in a body is with a circle of salt, or with a rune circle. This form looks like a green mist. An ashiron only takes damage from cold iron (or enchanted weapons vs Navirite fey) in incorporeal form.
