Dryads have been part of Atheles for as long as humans or elves have kept records, and the dwarves say they have always been here. Dryads, themselves, have kept no written history, nor do they seem to have any interest discussing their past, so it is doubtful we will ever know where they originated.
They are rare to find, and you will only encounter them when they choose for you to. They have the appearance of a short elf: wide, large eyes, pointed ears, and slim features. Their skin is dark gray-brown, and their hair changes with the colors of the leaves.
Shy, intelligent, and caring, they never prefer violence, unless someone or something is threatening their forest or tree.
