Ettin

Ettins are giant humanoid creatures who live in the hills and mountains of Atheles. They average 13’ in height and weight nearly 5,000 lbs. The most unique feature ettins possess is that they have two heads, each of which each controls their own side of the body—and not always in cooperation with the other. In fact, they are not very intelligent and spend a great deal of time arguing with one another. Whenever they are capable of  working together, they rely on raiding, stealing, and violence to survive. Whenever this happens, they are a force to be reckoned with.

Greater Two-Weapon Fighting

An ettin’s two heads control its two arms independently, allowing it to fight effectively with a weapon in each hand.

The ettin may make two Morningstar attacks, two Javelin attacks, or one of each every round without suffering penalties for fighting with two weapons.

Powerful Attack

Before making its melee attacks, an ettin may choose to make a Powerful Attack. It suffers -10% to its melee attack rolls for the round but deals an additional +1d8 damage with successful melee attacks.
