Ogre

Ogres are solitary giants who spend most of their time away from larger civilizations. They have a touch of fey to them as they live long lives, when they are not abused. Due to their size and strength, ogres have often been conscripted into various armies for the all too common wars we have in Uteria. Given massive amounts of food and trained to use their inner rage, they are feared on the battlefield.

Outside of this abuse from others, left to their own devices, ogres often spend time hunting in their chosen territory. They do not tend to form communities, only gathering for mating rituals and childbearing. They have a spiritual connection to the sky, and they often build shrines to the sun and stars.

Despite their fey nature, ogres are not often connected to magic or its use. But like all beings, ogres can learn many skills and talents, and I am sure that there are some fearsome ogre mages in the world.
