Pseudodragon

Small intelligent creatures that resemble the dragons of old, about 3 feet long, weighing about 6 to 8 lbs. They are friendly enough to the humanoid races, sometimes even choosing to become companions with us.

Elflings have a great affinity with pseudodragons, who call them “ru.” Their ability to telepathically communicate in Fey makes me believe that they may have originated from the same places that the elflings and elves came from.

On a failure, the victim falls asleep for 1 minute. At the end of that minute, the victim makes a second Difficult Stamina check. On a failure, it remains asleep for an additional 1d3 hours.

The victim can be awakened normally after the initial 1-minute period.

Blindsense

A pseudodragon can detect creatures within 60’ without relying on sight. It uses its exceptional hearing and sense of smell along with vibrations and subtle changes in its surroundings.

Blindsense allows the pseudodragon to determine a creature’s location, but creatures it cannot actually see are still considered concealed.

Telepathy

A pseudodragon can communicate telepathically with any creature within 60’ that speaks Fey.

This communication does not require the pseudodragon or the recipient to speak aloud.

Immunities

Pseudodragons are immune to magical sleep and paralysis effects.

Darkvision

A pseudodragon can see normally in extremely dim conditions, requiring only the faintest source of light.
