SagaBorn Launches New Ruby Glimmerdust Twenty-Sided D100 Dice for Percentile RPGs and Draw Steel
NASHVILLE, TN – SagaBorn creator Michael Bielaczyc has announced the upcoming Kickstarter launch of the newest addition to the Perfect Percentile dice line, the Ruby Glimmerdust Twenty-Sided D100 Dice Set.
Designed for percentile-based tabletop roleplaying games, the Perfect Percentile system replaces traditional percentile dice with a pair of twenty-sided icosahedron dice. One die is numbered 0–9 twice, while the second is numbered 00–90 twice, allowing players to generate results from 1–100 using the much more fun to roll twenty-sided dice.
Originally created for SagaBorn D100, the dice have proven popular with players of Basic Roleplaying (BRP) games and other percentile RPG systems, including Call of Cthulhu, RuneQuest, Mythras, OpenQuest, Delta Green, Pendragon, and Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay.
The new Ruby Glimmerdust edition features a deep translucent red finish with shimmering highlights and high-contrast numbering designed for readability at the gaming table.
In addition to the percentile set, the Kickstarter will also offer matching twenty-sided d10 dice designed for Draw Steel players. Each Draw Steel set includes two twenty-sided d10s paired with a d6, providing the fun feel of an icosahedron with the results of a D10.
“The goal has always been simple,” said Michael Bielaczyc, creator of SagaBorn. “I love percentile systems, but I wanted a percentile die that felt more like rolling a traditional gaming die. The Perfect Percentile line lets players enjoy the feel of a twenty-sided die while still generating true percentile results.”
The Kickstarter campaign seeks funding for production of the new Ruby Glimmerdust color and continued expansion of the Perfect Percentile product line. Future stretch goals will allow backers to vote on additional colors for future releases.
The campaign is scheduled to launch next month and will run for 19 days.
